Today, we will explore these seven success strategies in a quick overview, for common challenges entrepreneurs face like:  “Where will the money come from?” and “I don’t have the skills needed for my business.” or “My life feels out of control!”.  Do these concerns sound familiar?  The vast majority of entrepreneurial ventures fail.  Mostly because they didn’t get the support they needed to succeed.  Our clients get the support they need on issues like these:

I’m afraid there won’t be enough money and the future looks uncertain.

Solution: The very first step to conquer fear about finances is to shine the spotlight on the gremlin hiding in the shadows voicing the fear.  If you don’t, your fear will subconsciously drive your decisions down the wrong path.

I’m distracted from priorities by procrastination and clutter.

Solution: One of the most important first steps is to get really good at saying “no”.  If you’re not totally clear that your next choice is a priority, it probably isn’t.  Err on the side of saying “no” until you are clear.

I’m concerned I don’t have the skills or abilities to make my business successful.

Solution: Bottom line, you probably don’t have all the skills needed to successfully run your business.  Few entrepreneurs do.  Don’t waste your precious time muddling through some aspect of your business that you’re just not good at.  Hire your weaknesses so you can focus on your strengths.

My life is out of balance and out of control.

Solution: Being your own boss means, for better and worse, you’re in charge of every decision you make and you are wise to chose consciously.  Your priorities should be based on high yield actions and what sustains you and our business for the long run.

I have to go this alone, it’s all up to me.  I see endless work ahead, when is there time for me?

Solution: Every successful entrepreneur is backed by a strong team.  The sooner you start to build your team, the sooner you can break through that glass ceiling.

I tolerate pessimistic people.

Solution: Make a list of everything and everyone you are tolerating.  Who is zapping your energy?  Address these energy leaks, especially as an entrepreneur; your energy is a precious commodity.

I feel stressed and unhappy.

Solution: Balance your work and play before you’re burned out.  It’s the only way to run a sustainable business.

     How about at the beginning?  Like this website, for instance, is in it’s infancy.  Until we hire a web developer, I will be doing most of the development myself, which means that, slowly but surely, you will see increasing features and functionality here over the coming months.  Please be patient.  I do enjoy learning how this thing works!  I am pleased to have this site available to enhance our service to  our clients, the evolutionary entrepreneurs.

      If you’re like me, you understand the joys and challenges of being an entrepreneur with a vision.  You are someone who has never been satisfied to work for someone else.  You always had a burning desire inside to build your own dream, to make the world a better place.  And, if you are launching or have launched that dream, you know the challenges that reality presents like keeping a positive cash flow or keeping a positive attitude with your clients.  Sometimes you can feel like you have to go it alone because it’s your dream and you’re the one to make it work.  I know, I’ve been there.

Transformative Life Coaches First Blog

Our first blog entry~ yay!  This site is the culmination of a yearlong journey my wife Marcela and I have been on, down (or perhaps more accurately, up) a path of creating much more deeply satisfying work for ourselves and others.  We are very excited to offer our support to other entrepreneurs who are working for personal and global transformation.  I know from my own experience how stressful running your own business can be.  Marcela and I both feel very passionate about helping struggling entrepreneurs to learn and practice better leveraging of their time, money and energy so that they can become increasingly more successful in their businesses.

You know how often we, as small business owners, can feel overwhelmed with starting and maintaining our new venture?  No matter how long and hard you work, at the end of the day there’s often a feeling of disappointment that you couldn’t get more done.  Too often we take our business concerns to bed with us.  Sometimes even waking in the morning with a feeling of vague dread because of what lies before us.
